Bend Over And Pray The Lord on 2LP Vinyl in April

Out of the blue, Music On Vinyl announced they will release Bend Over And Pray The Lord, the album that was originally supposed to be Lordi’s debut album in 1999, on 2LP vinyl! The album was recorded and produced over two years in 1997-1999 but it wasn’t released until 2012 as a part of Scarchives Vol. 1 collection. That CD has become a very sought after item among Lordi fans. Now BOAPTL will once again be available. It’ll be released on Record Store Day 2024, on April 20th and as of now, it won’t be available for preorder online. You have to walk in to a real brick-and-mortar record store to buy this one. Imagine that!

Here are the quick details of this release:

180 gram audiophile vinyl
Deluxe heavyweight sleeve
Includes 8-page booklet
Contains etch on its D-side
RSD 2024 sticker
Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on silver & black marbled vinyl

This release announcement came as a huge surprise. After the recent vinyl releases of Get Heavy, The Monsterican Dream and Deadache, the fans obviously were anticipating Babez for Breakfast, which is the only Lordi studio album not to have a vinyl version, for now.
